It Just Doesn't Matter So Much
I don't quite know why, nor do I necessarily want to figure it out but I don't care as much. I love not bothering with my hair. I like that I can quickly pull on a pair of jeans and t-shirt on a day to day basis. I couldn't be bothered to put much make-up on, even though I hardly have any eyebrow or eyelash hairs.
I shake my head now when I see women wearing high heeled shoes - especially for very casual events like going to a movie or to a child's birthday party.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy dressing up for special occasions, but it is important to me to be comfortable. Even Lance Armstrong said he used to fuss with his hair before he went through cancer treatment. Now he keeps his hair short to avoid styling it.
I'll pass on a new car and start saving for my bucket list. Why should I wait for retirement to start living some of my dreams? Why not start now. Why not live a more simple life and enjoy experiencing my dreams now, with my kids and husband. Would I like a larger house? Sure! But do I really need more space. Can I be smarter with what I have? Sure!
Do I want to go shopping? Just groceries, thank you. Oh, maybe a new water efficiency washing machine.
Now where is my bucket list?

You are absolutey right. I just recently started to like the silly lady shoes. :) People before things and God before everything. Carpe Diem I say. Great picture by the way.
