I'm driving again. Today, day 13 since surgery, I headed out to a bike shop to do some shopping. I drove with the kids in tow. It went reasonably well. There were some tight pulls in my muscles when I did some backing up and turning.
I just see it as another form of exercise to loosen and stretch the muscles. The stitches will dissolve so I am not worried about pulling them out - in case you were wondering about them.
Remember, no to honk at that slow driver backing out of her spot in the parking lot. She may have just had a bilateral mastectomy and needs to buy some milk for her family.
