Everyone has it.

I thought I was one of a handful in this battle Then I went to the waiting room at the Cancer Agency and saw so many people with cancer. During chemotherapy I sit with one, maybe three other cancer patients who are also fighting this deadly disease. Some are dying, some are just starting and some are celebrating their last treatment. Everyone there has cancer. We are all fighting the same fight.
Outside of the agency I have come to see that we are all battling something. Yes, I stand out in a crowd because I have no hair, but what about that person in the grocery line up or the one who is very private about his personal life. I have come to realize I am just one of you. My battle feels big, but yours could be bigger.

'Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'

When I read your "everyone has it" I realized what a strong and wonderful daughter you are to us.Everyone does have their own problems but unfortunately not everyone has the strength or the Faith you have.
You make us all stronger and ,I hope kinder.
Hope you have a great and happy day!

Anna,
I love how you are able to 'pull it all together'. You are so right. We all have 'stuff'. The world needs more empathy that's for sure. Thanks Anna - thanks for sharing so much of yourself as you travel this road. We pray each and every day for you. I can't wait to hug you - won't be long now and we'll be in Vancouver.
