Keep The Ones That Are Blooming

I know we change as people. Jeff and I have changed and yet we have worked hard at keeping our relationship fresh. Yet I find that there are other relationships I am ready to let go of. I don't want to water, fertilize and give them my energy like I used to. Yes, the friendship may die. However, in this garden of life I want to be in a flower bed of colourful, blooming plants. In the past month some new Gerbera Daisies have popped up. They are strong, brilliant flowers who draw me into their mesmerizing spell. Sheri and Andrea are two of these daisies that share the soils, water and sun around them. Oh, there are more new flowers all around. Some I don't even know their name but they are beautiful and enjoy sharing this patch of soil with me. Some are old loyal roses who have been in the garden for a long time and still look over on me.
Matthew and my other students have taken very good care of me these past 6 months. There are no weeds around me. I've been nurtured with love and kindness with a most radiant energy. I am keeping the good ones and I may let the other ones go.
