Cathy C. and Kyle W. decided to do something crazy for cancer this past June. Yes they were targets for small water filled balloons.
One sunny June lunch at my school, these two teachers put on their gear to prepare for hundreds of water balloons to be thrown at them. Kyle decided to go the hockey goalie helmet route, while Cathy chose to wear a full-body-covering-track suite - no padding for both.
They endured so many fast flying unidentified objects that they were soaking wet and partially bruised, I'm sure.
They made $622 this day. The principal topped it up to $700!!!!
P.A.C. donated all of their profits from the Family B-B-Q - all $300 of it -so there is a grand total of $1000.
This just makes me very proud of my staff, principal, the students and their parents!
What a great community I am a part of. What an honour to be honoured.
