My Medication....did they give me the correct stuff?

After my new round of chemotherapy, I have been given some new pills to help with the side effects. Well, reading the pharmacist's information sheet took me a bit by surprise.

N.G. pill (300mg):
Common Uses: This medicine is an anticonvulsant used to treat seizures associated with epilepsy. It may also be used in adults to treat nerve pain following infection.
With this new pill comes a separate list of side effects I won't go into.

D. pill (8 mg):
Common Uses: This medicine is a corticosteroid used to treat severe allergies, arthritis, asthma, and skin conditions. One side effect of this pill is an increased appetite! Yucky but doable.

Well so far I have not had a seizure, no unknown rashes from a foreign country and I am still able to knit (no arthritis).

What are you knitting? Are you sure you should even be reading the pharmacy notes..I say burn them..but then again I would miss your sense of humour shining through!
