The $195 suite with breakfast included was a pleasant enough experience but I am happy to be home. The nurses kept me comfortable.
Driving up to my house I was absolutely tickled pink with my surprise. I now have a certificate to get better and lots of beautiful, colourful windmills that will make me smile every time the wind blows through them. I have been comforted by so many people in these last few days. I felt so loved and cared during the lead up to surgery. I was calm and even fell asleep while waiting for the doctors to draw their lines on me.
Surgery is over and now I am on the conveyor belt of healing. I am sleeping so much. I walk around like a stiff robot. The Tylenol 3s are working well for pain and I get tired from walking around in the house. It is so odd to be without energy. Hubby has been great helping me out.
