It was TEN long days without a voice. This probably was the hardest two weeks since I was diagnosed with cancer.
On the ELEVENTH day I got a squeak of a voice - just ask Elisabeth or Sophia, and on the TWELFTH day I got a deep musty voice. I'm thrilled that my white blood cells are fighting this viral throat infection and I am on the mend before they zap me with chemo again. I still have some throat problems but I also have 3 more days to get healthier. I'm chugging along.
So I've made many phone calls and my to-do list has some check marks on it. My children are also thrilled that I can finally communicate without using my hands.
